InSight hires two new execs

InSight Health Services Holdings has appointed two new additions to its senior management team.

Steven M. King was named executive vice president (VP) of sales and marketing, and Keith S. Kelson executive VP and chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Mitch C. Hill, who is leaving the company on Nov 1.

King, who has more than 20 years of healthcare sales and marketing experience, will report directly to President and CEO Kip Hallman in the newly created role. Prior to this, InSight said that he served as director and VP of sales of Irvine, Calif.-based HeartSmart Technologies. Earlier in his career, King worked in executive and sales management positions with IVAC of San Diego, and Pyxis of San Diego (a division of Cardinal Health).

As CFO, the Lake Forest, Calif.-based InSight said Kelson will oversee all financial functions of the company, also reporting to Hallman. He brings more than 10 years of senior financial experience to InSight. Previously, he served as CFO of Dallas-based Securus Technologies, where he managed the financial functions of the telecommunications company.
