Kaiser completes EHR roll-out

Kaiser Permanente’s EHR program is now available to its 8.7 million members, following regional rollouts over the past two years.

The completion will enable members of the Oakland, Calif.-based provider and payor organization to access their EHRs stored in Kaiser’s HealthConnect EHR system.

Kaiser said its EHR system features include online appointment scheduling and prescription refill requests; access to lab test results, eligibility and benefits information; access to immunization records; and secure messaging with clinicians.
