Kodak names Siemens' Davenport to Health Imaging post

Eastman Kodak Co. today named Roger L. (Vern) Davenport as regional business general manager for the United States and Canada (US&C) and vice president of its Health Imaging group.

 Davenport most recently served as senior vice president of solutions and marketing at Siemens Medical Solutions USA. He will be responsible for growth in Kodak's digital imaging, healthcare information technology (IT) products and professional services.

 Davenport led the integration of U.S. sales and service functions of Siemens' Shared Medical Systems and Acuson acquisitions. Davenport also led the global launch of Siemens' Soarian health information technology, designed to synchronize workflow and orchestrate patient care by integrating clinical, financial, therapeutic and diagnostic information.
