MedQuist ink MedAssets deal

Speech recognition and transcription services provider MedQuist has signed a multi-year agreement with MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, a group purchasing organization.

The transaction renews the relationship between the organizations and allows MedQuist to offer its complete portfolio of products to MedAssets business partners, comprising more than 2,400 hospitals and 30,000 non-acute care healthcare providers in the United Statesaccording to the Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based MedQuist.
