Mercury spins off Visage Imaging
Mercury Computer Systems has formed Visage Imaging, a wholly-owned subsidiary for the life sciences and medical business. As an independently operating entity, Visage Imaging will be positioned to deliver Mercury’s expertise in advanced visualization to the Chelmsford, Mass.-based firm’s roster of international original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and clinical partners, the company said.
Visage Imaging will be providing customizable applications with advanced tools for 2D, 3D, and 4D image interpretation, post-processing, management and distribution that are not bound to specific workstations and are accessible directly within the PACS workflow, Mercury said.
