Misys names Pat McNamee president of Physicians Systems

Misys Healthcare Systems has named Pat McNamee as president of its Physicians Systems business. McNamee joins Misys after serving as president and CEO of GE Medical Systems' OEC Medical Systems division since July 2002.

Before joining GE OEC, McNamee's career at General Electric Co. (GE) included service with GE's Consulting, Medical Systems, Power Systems, Transportation Systems and NBC divisions. Misys designs, develops, and supports a line of information technology products for commercial laboratories, clinics, managed service and other related healthcare organizations.
