NetApp hits 1,000 with storage system installs

Network Appliance Inc. (NetApp) has reached the over 1,000 mark with healthcare center deployments of its storage systems for digital records and archiving. The company credits PACS and other health IT systems as contributing to growth in the overall sector and its own gains within the market.
   
NetApp PACS business has seen a doubling in the past year and now supports more than 500 radiology groups, imaging centers, and hospital enterprises.
