North Carolina healthcare IT consortium elects new president

The North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance (NCHICA), a nonprofit consortium that aims to improve healthcare in the state through health IT initiatives, has elected Tom Earnhardt as its president for 2007-2008.

Earnhardt is also senior VP of Cabarrus Family Medicine, a multi-clinic group providing family healthcare to more than 70,000 patients in Cabarrus and Stanly counties in North Carolina.
