Planmed promotes Varjonen

Mammography equipment developer Planmed of Helsinki, Finland, has named Mari Lehtimaki Varjonen as clinical product manager.
   
With eight years of technical and clinical experience in the medical imaging industry, Varjonen held previous positions at GE Healthcare and Instrumentarium Corp. Imaging Division. Planmed said Varjonen will be responsible for clinical trials and new technology assessments, as well as managing clinical research in Europe and the United States.
