RSNA: Merge releases new toolkit

Merge Healthcare, a health IT developer, released its MergeCOM-3 DICOM Toolkit at the 96th annual scientific meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago, Nov. 28 to Dec. 3.

The MergeCOM-3 HL7 Toolkit adds a plug-in and sample for creating HL7 mappings through a graphical interface; allowing interface analysts to create and validate HL7 connectivity. The Milwaukee-based company added that its latest version of Merge’s Image Enhancement Toolkit enables digital radiography vendors to improve image quality and acquisition workflow for their next generation systems.
