RSNA publishes first issue of its AI in radiology journal
RSNA has published the first issue of its new online journal Radiology: Artificial Intelligence.
The new journal will be published bi-monthly and focus on emerging machine learning and AI applications in imaging across multiple disciplines, according to an RSNA release. It will feature original research as well as editorials.
“We are extremely pleased with the quality of articles in the journal’s first issue,” said editor Charles E. Kahn Jr., MD, vice chairman of radiology at Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, in the release. “These articles highlight the ways that AI can be applied to measurably improve healthcare.”
Kahn also stated the AI-focused journal will be held to the same high editorial standards as Radiology.
