There soon may be an imaging system under your skin
Engineers at the University of Stuttgart in Germany have designed an “imaging system” so tiny that it can be sent straight into human tissue.
The system is based on a three-lens camera built using 3-D printing. The camera has a lens just 100 micrometers wide that can focus on images up to 3 millimeters away and relay them back through an optical fiber.
