U-Systems names Thompson as VP

Automated breast ultrasound system developer U-Systems has selected Bob Thompson as its vice president of marketing and business development. Thompson will join the San Jose, Calif.-based firm on Oct. 1, according to U-Systems.

Thompson, most recently affiliated with Canadian ultrasound manufacturer Ultrasonix, has held positions at ATL Ultrasound and GE Healthcare, during his 18-year medical imaging device career, U-Systems said.
