Ultrasonix appoints Thompson

Ultrasonix Medical Corp. of Burnaby, British Columbia, has appointed Robert Thompson as vice president of marketing and business development.
   
Thompson's track record in the worldwide ultrasound business includes tenures with ATL Ultrasound and, most recently, GE Healthcare, where he was the global marketing manager for General Imaging Ultrasound.
