Visage allies with Nuance, Medicsight for product integration

CHICAGO, Nov. 28—Visage Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercury Computer Systems, has partnered with Nuance’s Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions Division and Medicsight for integrate their product their product lines, both of which were announced on Tuesday at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

The Carlsbad, Calif.-based Visage said it will integrate Dictaphone’s Commissure RadWhere for Radiology and Visage solutions. The RadWhere for Radiology application will be integrated with Visage’s PACS and Visage CS to streamline speech-driven clinical documentation and advanced visualization, Visage said.

Medicsight and Visage will jointly develop an advanced CT colonography solution, which will be integrated with the Visage’s Thin Client/Server platform. The planned CT colonography (CTC) application will be integrated into this platform, so radiologists and clinicians can use of the power of CTC combined with Medicsight CAD, in both second and concurrent reading paradigms; as well as for distributing, documenting, and sharing the diagnostic results, according to Visage.
