Vital, Sectra expand partnership

Vital Images, a provider of advanced visualization and analysis software, and IT and medical technology company Sectra have expanded their partnership by merging products.

As part of the new agreement, the Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra said it will offer its customers Vital’s Vitrea Enterprise Suite as an additional option integrated with Sectra's PACS platform, which will include centralized data management.

Minneapolis-based Vital said that its Vitrea Enterprise Suite will provide Sectra customers and potential clients with a Web-based advanced visualization solution that will allow physicians universal access to a platform of applications including cardiac, vascular, neuro, virtual colonoscopy and other functionality via the PACS interface.
