Ziosoft offers product premiers
Ziosoft debuted its Ziostation 3D Thin-Client System for the U.S. market at the 2008 RSNA conference in Chicago, as well as the launch of its Ziostation Web 3.0 and a global marketing partnership with Medicsight.
The Ziostation provides a suite of advanced 3D analysis tools and is based on a unified thin-client architecture that requires no proprietary or specialized hardware components. It also does not necessitate a separate standalone workstation to supplement its functionality, according to the company.
Highlights of the Ziostation 3D Thin-Client system include: a scalable architecture including the capability to load-balance case processing; a toolset that includes vessel/coronary analysis, multi-volume fusion and automatic segmentation; a customizable user interface and action macros; and web-based accessibility requiring no software installation.
A partnership with computer-aided detection software developer Medicsight will integrate that that firm’s CT colonography application within the Ziostation thin-client 3D system, the company said. The combined product is expected to be available in the United States in early 2009, pending regulatory clearance from the FDA.
Ziostation Web 3.0 provides essential 3D analysis and real-time collaboration tools on a secure website without the need for any proprietary or specialized hardware, the company said.
