ARRS names Crowe as president

John K. Crowe, MD, has been named the 2008-2009 president of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS). 

Crowe practices in Arizona at Scottsdale Medical Imaging and Scottsdale Healthcare and has teaching appointments at Yale University and The University of Arizona, ARRS said.

The society said that Crowe is a founding member of Scottsdale Medical Imaging, a group practice of over 40 physicians and 400 employees. He has served as a member, director and officer of civic groups, foundations and various local, state and national medical organizations. Crowe is also currently a trustee of the American Board of Radiology (ABR), ARRS said.
