Fujifilm appoints Tada as president, CEO

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has appointed Hiroaki Tada its new president and CEO, assuming responsibility for all U.S. sales and service for Fujifilm’s Medical Imaging, Science Systems and Non-Destructive Testing divisions.

The responsibilities include global marketing and research and development for Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS, as well as for the company’s growing women’s healthcare area, according to the Stamford, Conn.-based company.

Tada has been with Fujifilm for more than 35 years, beginning with the Photographic Products and Graphic Systems departments, and his roles have since included various Fujifilm subsidiaries throughout Japan, Europe and North America, Fujifilm said.
