Covidien launches new microwave ablation system

Covidien has released the Evident microwave ablation system for soft tissue globally.

The Evident microwave ablation system is intended for coagulation of soft tissue during percutaneous, laparoscopic and open surgical procedures in 10 minutes or less, according to the Hamilton, Bermuda-based Covidien.
