ABII certifies 64 new imaging informatics pros

The American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) has named 64 new certified imaging informatics professionals, following the completion of the seventh ABII exam in March.

According to ABII, the exam assesses candidates in areas such as image management and IT, as well as operations, communications, systems management, clinical engineering, medical informatics, procurement, project management and training and education.

The addition of the newly certified individuals raises the number of imaging informatics professionals designated by ABII to 541 since the establishment of the exam in 2007, said the organization.
