Covisint nabs CDS developer DocSite

Covisint, a Compuware company, has acquired DocSite, a clinical decision support (CDS) and quality performance management company.

Financial details were not disclosed yet the non-material, all-cash transaction closed on Sept. 17 and will be slightly accretive this fiscal year, the Detroit-based Covisint said. The majority of Raleigh, N.C.-based DocSite’s employees will join Covisint.

According to Covisint, DocSite will offer tools for exchanging and analyzing clinical and patient information across the healthcare delivery system. The offering will be immediately available to the caregivers already on the Covisint platform.
