eRad lands West Coast RIS/PACS install

Healthcare IT provider eRad, a division of RadNet, has been selected by Blythe, Calif.-based Palo Verde Hospital for its integrated RIS/PACS technology.

The hospital has completed conversion and migration of its DICOM studies from its existing system to the web-based eRad RIS/PACS, allowing patient images and diagnostic reports to be viewed by radiologists at the hospital, as well as from remote locations, said the Greenville, S.C.-based company.

The sale and installation was completed by Phoenix-based authorized reseller of eRad products, Merry X-Ray.
