GE Healthcare IT appoints Jackman as new VP
GE Healthcare IT has appointed Michael Jackman, MBA, to the role of vice president and general manager of its specialty solutions business.
Jackman will be responsible for global product strategy for the division, which includes imaging informatics, and perinatal and perioperative IT tools such as Centricity PACS, Centricity Radiology Mobile Access, Centricity Perinatal and Centricity Perioperative.
Jackman has experience at several healthcare companies, including executive positions at iSoft, Carestream Health and Eastman Kodak Company’s Health Group. He previously spent 18 years at IBM, leading various strategies and initiatives as a senior executive. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island in North Kingston, R.I., and an MBA from Nova University (now Nova Southeastern University) in Davie, Fla.
