Indiana hospital to install Merge iConnect

Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, Ind., has purchased Merge’s iConnect image interoperability platform.

iConnect offers a zero-footprint DICOM and XDS viewer to enable remote image viewing by clinicians from within a patient’s EMR, without the need to download images, according to Merge Healthcare, a Chicago-based imaging and interoperability IT company.
