Infinitt launches PACS integration platform
Infinitt North America has launched an integration platform that unifies the viewing of radiological studies and simplifies reading/reporting workflow across multi-facility, multi-PACS reading environments.
Now available as an option with the Infinitt web-based viewer, the integration platform receives HL7 orders from remote sites, converts the incoming messages to a standard data feed and presents DICOM images to the Infinitt system for viewing. Rules-based prefetch enables priors to be routed to the Infinitt viewer without human intervention, and studies archived in disparate systems can be brought up by DICOM Query/Retrieve, according to the Phillipsburg, N.J.-based provider of image and information management platforms.
