Infinitt, Medicsight ink partnership

Infinitt and Medicsight have signed a marketing partnership to offer the ColonCAD API package within Infinitt's Xelis Colon application for improved detection of abnormalities within the large intestine.

London-based Medicsight’s ColonCAD API is CAD algorithm which analyzes scan data and automatically highlights specific regions of interest that are indicative of potential colorectal polyps, thus helping radiologists to identify abnormalities within the colon that may be the early precursors of colon cancer. With more radiologists learning to interpret CTC exams, it is anticipated that CAD will become an integral component of CTC interpretation, indicated the Phillipsburg, N.J.-based Infinitt.
