Mach7 Technologies Expands into New Corporate Headquarters in Burlington, Vermont

Burlington, VT – August 20, 2014 – Mach7 Technologies, an award-winning provider of medical image management solutions, announced today the relocation of its U.S. headquarters to 120 Kimball Street, South Burlington, VT, 05403.

Mach7 is moving from a location north of Burlington to a large centrally located technology park that is also home to several Vermont-headquartered healthcare IT companies. Growth is nothing new for Vermont’s Mach7 Technologies, which has been adding new locations globally since it was founded nearly 10 years ago.  Significant client wins in the U.S. led Mach7 to expand into the new 2,000 square-foot location on Kimball Street.  Mach7 is adding engineering, technical support, marketing and sales staff in the new location.

“Our U.S. customer base has grown significantly in the last twelve months and we’ve stepped up our hiring plans across all departments. We moved to accommodate our current team, and to allow for planned employee growth over the next 24 to 36 months,” said Eric Rice, chief technology officer, Mach7 Technologies.

The largest city in Vermont, Burlington and Chittenden County is not a stranger to technology innovators like Mach7. As a growing community of leaders, Burlington is home to globally recognized brands including IBM, General Electric, Burton Snowboards, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream and Green Mountain Coffee.  Burlington is also home to six universities and colleges, including the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical center, the largest medical center north of Boston and a Level-1 trauma center.

A headquarters location great for business and families

In June 2014, U.S. News Health named Burlington’s Chittenden County, fourth on the list of America’s 50 Healthiest Counties for Kids.  “Mach7 places a high value on our employee’s life-work balance and we think that expanding our headquarters location in Burlington brings together the absolute best in technology, innovation and family balance. We are next door to six terrific colleges and universities and we actively recruit locally, hire interns into our summer programs and we engage in the community as a team of employees,” said Rice.

Mach7 also supports local charities and participates in area ‘challenge’ races to help support the local community.
