MD-IT, MDnetwork merge

Medical documentation software company MD-IT has completed a merger agreement with MDnetwork, a privately held EMR system optimization provider, under which MDnetwork will operate as a division of MD-IT. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

MDnetwork specializes in optimizing EMR systems to increase physician adoption through a combination of integrated technology and dictation services, MD-IT, of Boulder, Colo., stated.

Bard Betz, CEO of MDnetwork, has joined MD-IT as vice president of channel development, where he will lead the company’s new services business and establish strategic partnerships with clients and vendors, according to MD-IT.
