Quality Systems acquires CQI Solutions

Quality Systems, the parent company of NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, has entered into an agreement to acquire CQI Solutions, a provider of surgery information systems.

New Braunfels, Texas-based CQI will become part of NextGen, where CQI’s patient scheduling and surgical information systems will be sold both independently, as well as part of an integrated tool within the NextGen Inpatient Solutions portfolio, the Irvine, Calif.-based Quality Systems stated.

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
