Sectra, Zimmer ink ortho deal

Sectra and Zimmer have signed a non-exclusive cooperation agreement, which will allow Zimmer to provide its customers in certain European countries with Sectra’s online 2D pre-operative planning system for orthopaedic surgery.

Sectra’s online service, Sectra Preop Online, provides digital templating tools to surgeons that allow them to digitally plan their joint replacement surgeries.

The agreement is expected to have limited financial impact on Sectra’s medical operation for the current fiscal year, according to a release issued by Sectra.
