Symantec's cloud-based storage compatible with Siemens PACS

Storage management systems developer Symantec Health and Siemens Healthcare have completed compatibility testing for Symantec’s cloud-based medical image archiving offering and Siemens' PACS technology.

According to Mountain View, Calif.-based Symantec, connectivity tests between several Siemens imaging IT applications, including syngo.plaza and syngo Imaging for Radiology, as well as syngo Dynamics for Cardiology were conducted on the company’s DICOM archive for handling, storing, printing and transmitting information in medical imaging.
