Tenn. hospital selects Carestream's RIS

The Regional Medical Center at Memphis (MED) has purchased Carestream Health’s Vue RIS with embedded voice recognition.

The Tennessee-based MED selected Carestream Health’s Vue RIS for improved scheduling and reporting for all radiology exams including mammography, according to the Rochester, N.Y.-based provider of medical imaging systems.

In related news, MED recently upgraded its Carestream Vue PACS to obtain vendor-neutral archiving and reading tools including automatic registration for volumetric exams and other features available to any authorized user at any location.
