Texas medical center purchases Digisonics' Digiview CVIS/PACS

The Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, N.M., has purchased Digisonics’ DigiView CVIS/PACS and structured reporting system to provide image analysis and structured reporting with measurement options for vascular studies.

According to the Houston-based company, clinicians will have the option to remotely view and edit images, as well as finalize structured reports through an internet connection while utilizing the DigiNet Pro application.

DataLink modules will auto-populate patient biometry from the organization’s Siemens Healthcare Sequoia and Parks Medical Electronics' Parks-Flo systems to the DigiView system, Digisonics stated. The DigiHL7 application will interface with the site’s VA VistA for orders-in/results-out, while Digisonics Gateway software will monitor all network transmissions.

The Report Store-to-PACS will then retrieve study information and convert finalized reports to DICOM files for storage, the company added.
