Utah university taps Accelarad to share rad images

University of Utah HealthCare (UUHC) in Salt Lake City has selected Accelarad’s SeeMyRadiology.com cloud-based medical image sharing platform.

SeeMyRadiology.com is a web portal that enables doctors as well as patients to upload images to a cloud environment and grant access to these studies, the Atlanta-based radiology software company stated. Images may be downloaded into the receiving facility’s PACS or managed through the cloud environment.

UUHC radiologists also send images and reports to their referral network using the technology and can communicate online in real time about cases, the company added.
