WellStar to deploy Agfa systems

WellStar Health System of Atlanta has selected Agfa HealthCare's Impax RIS and reporting systems, which will be implemented this year.

In late 2010, WellStar decided to implement Agfa's RIS/PACS reporting system and Impax RIS throughout the enterprise, Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa shared.

With Impax RIS, clinicians and administrators can electronically manage radiology operations from patient registration through report delivery. The RIS/PACS reporting system provides access to information, images and reporting tools from a single desktop.
