Claron Debuts Enhanced Modality Support for Nil Universal Viewers
Claron Technology will announce extended modality support for its Nil universal zero-footprint medical viewers at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2013 conference in booth #8002. The Nil viewer family includes NilShare, for referring physicians, and NilRead, newly U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-clear for diagnostic use. Also new at RSNA for the viewers is support for high-definition MPEG-4 videos as well as all common image formats including JPEG, TIFF, and PNG. The viewers also now support full Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) Integrating and Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) profile, including comprehensive Health Level 7 (HL7) Clinical document Architecture (CDA) documents. The Nil viewer family is optimized for cache less integration with remote archives, including picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and Vender Neutral Archive (VNA), streaming data without caching it. This allows Nil to provide the best user experience for the clinical workflow typical of universal viewers, where it is not possible to optimize data access based on a scheduled workflow.
