ASRT training modules aim to help facilities meet Joint Commission requirements

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists has developed a pair of safety training modules designed to help technologists and facilities meet revised CT and MRI safety requirements from the Joint Commission.

Safe CT Practices focuses on technical factor selection, patient positioning and CT dose requirements. Safe MRI Practices deals with MRI safety principles, patient screening and emergency management.

The modules are for safety training only and are not eligible for CE credit.
