BJC Healthcare Barnes-Jewish St. Peters chooses ScImage's enterprise PACS

ScImage this week announced that BJC Healthcare, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital has purchased ScImage's Enterprise PACS, PICOMEnterprise.

PICOMEnterprise is an integrated medical imaging information management product designed to provide image and document management for radiology and cardiology imaging studies performed at Barnes St. Peters Hospital.

PICOMEnterprise offers integration of image acquisition, diagnostic review, short-term storage, reporting and web-based distribution using a single application platform. Physicians in both departments -- as well as more than 700 referring physicians throughout the facility -- will have immediate access to the images and information on ScImage's Enterprise PACS.

The Los Altos, Calif.-based company also will assist the institution in creating a complete digital workflow to provide seamless interfaces between the facility's radiology information system, hospital information system and PICOMEnterprise.
