Calif. breast clinics tap Novarad

Serra Medical Group, a multispecialty physician group practice in the San Fernando Valley, and Valley Breast Care & Women’s Health Center in Van Nuys, Calif., have selected NovaRad's NovaMG for mammography services.

The NovaMG breast imaging viewer combines the tool set of NovaPACS with customizable mammographic reading and hanging protocol sequences. The system has FDA 510(k) clearance and is Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) compliant, while also supporting multi-modality viewing and iCad and R2 structured reports, according to American Fork, Utah-based Novarad. The system also autopopulates diagnostic findings to a mammography reporting system and synchs worklists for recall-report from either the RIS or mammography reporting system.
