California medical group taps McKesson for revenue cycle management

The Lucile Packard Medical Group will outsource its revenue cycle operations to McKesson Provider Technologies, to improve operating efficiencies.

McKesson’s Revenue Management Solutions will handle all billing and collection operations for the more than 650 physicians associated with the academic medical center, which is located on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, Calif.

Lucile Packard is a 264-bed hospital devoted to the care of children and expectant mothers.
