Columbus Radiology CEO Elected to Radiology Business Management Association Board

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) has elected Charles McRae, CEO of Columbus Radiology, to its board. In addition, he will also serve as chair of the association’s Radiology Integration Models Taskforce.

The taskforce is responsible for identifying, evaluating and communicating alternative payment methodologies and integration models in response to accountable care and value-based medicine.

“I am pleased to serve on the board and chair the Radiology Integration Models Taskforce,” McRae said. “At Columbus Radiology, we are passionate about partnering with healthcare entities to provide excellence in evidence-based radiology. I am honored to be chosen to lead this team in evaluating the role of radiology integration in the era of accountable care.”

Prior to this nomination, McRae has been an active RBMA member for 10 years, including his time spent as president of the Tennessee RBMA and on the Data Committee and the Alternative Payment Models Taskforce. He recently joined Columbus Radiology as CEO in November 2011. Previously, he served as chief financial officer and practice administrator at Vista Radiology, P.C. based in Knoxville, TN.

In addition to the RBMA, McRae served on Haslam Scholarship Selection Committee. He was a standout offensive tackle at the University of Tennessee and the first offensive player selected in the 1991 National Football League draft. McRae resides in downtown Columbus with his wife, Lori.
