Eigen restructures, aims at urology market

Following its internal restructuring, medical imaging manufacturer Eigen is now set to compete for a share in the $5 billion urology market, according to the company.

Eigen, headquartered in Grass Valley, Calif., has traditionally focused its offerings on cardiology and radiology, but is now aiming at providing imaging systems and software to the urology market, particularly for the imaging and biopsy of prostate cancer, the company said.
