Emageon scores Aurora contract

Aurora Health Care has chosen  Emageon's software to manage the acquisition, archiving, distribution and viewing of patient images across the Milwaukee healthcare system.

 Aurora's integrated delivery network (IDN) includes 13 hospitals, more than 100 clinics and 135 community pharmacies in more than 75 eastern Wisconsin communities. The IDN is scheduled to open its new state-of-the-art facility in October in Oshkosh.

Emageon software is designed to allow IDN's to access patient images, workflow and clinical information using enterprise class, standards-based advanced visualization and infrastructure software.
