Florida hospital signs on for LAN services

Onslow Memorial Hospital, a healthcare provider in Jacksonville, Fla., has signed a contract with Language Access Network (LAN), remote language interpretation services provider to the healthcare industry, to provide  hospital video language interpretation services.

The services will be delivered via LAN’S broadband network and the Martti Express, the company's proprietary remote video interpretation equipment, according to LAN, of Columbus, Ohio.

Onslow is part of the South Atlantic Healthcare Alliance, of which LAN is a preferred provider, the company added.
