iPad brings advanced visualization to the OR
Fovia Medical and Teikyo University School of Medicine have partnered to bring volume rendering on the iPad to the operating room.
Fovia’s HDVR Connect software for the iPad provides physicians and surgeons access to advanced visualization on a mobile, multi-touch platform, allowing them to query and review data during surgical procedures.
Teikyo University School of Medicine in Tokyo deployed Fovia’s CPU-based, thin client-server technology to operate iPad clients as needed, using Windows, Mac or Linux servers that run locally or via the cloud.
