La. hospital selects Philips CT technology

West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital has installed Philips Ingenuity CT platform.

The Sulphur, La.-based hospital selected Philips’ CT as part of its initiative to implement dose as low as reasonably achievable. Compared to the previous generation of Philips CT, Ingenuity was found to save up to five minutes per study and allows facilities to scan up to 25 percent more patients a day, according to the Eindhoven, Netherlands-based company.
