Medical technology agreement inked between Commissure, Massachusetts General Hospital

Commissure, a new medical communications and documentation solution provider, entered into an agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to license both Lexicon Mediated Entropy Reduction (LEXIMER) and Radiology Order Entry (ROE) technology. Commissure anticipates that the licensing agreement will enable them to expand their clinical solution products.

LEXIMER was designed as an advanced engine used to automatically classify unstructured radiology reports through the use of Natural Language Processing.  Additionally, Commissure anticipates that combining LEXIMER technology with the appropriateness criteria and decision support rules of ROE will enable a number of new features for Commissure's current RadPort Suite application.
