Minnesota system selects Lawson's practice management tech

Lakeview Health System in Stillwater, Minn., has selected multiple enterprise software technologies from Lawson Software, including Lawson Enterprise Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management and Budgeting suites to replace systems for its business management.

As part of the contract, Lakeview also will implement Lawson Contract Management and Budgeting & Planning applications along with Workforce Management applications Lawson Time and Attendance, as well as Scheduling and Staffing. The contract was signed during the fourth quarter of Lawson's 2010 fiscal year, which ended May 31, according to the St. Paul, Minn., company, and its Lawson Professional Services will lead the implementation project.

The new applications will assist the 97-bed Lakeview with its day-to-day business data for its 600 employees, along with the patients they serve, Lawson stated.
