Misys nets 18 EMR installs

Misys Healthcare Systems has inked 18 contracts for its electronic medical record (EMR) system with various U.S. medical practices.

The practices selected Misys EMR, a modularly designed product - which is part of the Misys Optimum - that provides electronic capabilities for routine tasks related to clinical data (such as transcription, imaging, orders management, messaging and prescription writing), as well as a wireless point-of-care for physicians in the examination room.
